Mycology Mounting Kit

This kit allows you to take two revolutionary product and make beautiful permanent mounts.

First, Fungi-Tape is an efficient way of performing slide mounts of fungi from primary cultures. The adhesive tape is pliable enough for you to make a tape loop and then sample your culture. Each roll contains approximately 360 coverslips.

Then use MycoPerm to create a long lasting coverslip.

Second, MycoPerm makes using messy nail polish obsolete. Tease mount preparations can be made and stored for long periods of time. The novel Lacto-phenol cotton blue stain (blue kit) or acid fuchsin (red kit) contains plasticizers which help in making a durable preparation. Packaged in dropper bottles of 12ml.
